Instead of getting a hoodie sweatshirt to keep you warm this year at school, try a boyfriend cardi or other cardi instead. That doesn't mean that you CAN'T wear hoodies; just mix it up a little with a cardi once in awhile. They're majorly cute and go with just about every outfit. Dress them up or dress them down, they're still cute and in style!
Looking around in stores and at school, I realized that sweaters are so not just for winter. Actually I have a short-sleeved navy blue babydoll from abercrombie (Which I found for $15! Who said A&F has to be expensive? :) and I think it's great for summer too! LOL! I love sweaters, idk...they just give me such a girly touch!

Scarves: i think that they would be cute once in a while to put together a nice fall outfit, but if they get so "in" and ppl r wearing them every day, they r going to get boring and im going to get tired of them.
Flats: i used to like flats, but not anymore! when ppl wear them with a pair of jeans and a tee, or a long shirt and leggings, in my opinion it looks plain stupid! flats were ok at first with the pretty browns, yellows, pinks, plaid, and buckles, but now when they r getting so popular they r looking stupid, and ppl r pairing them w/outfits that doesnt even match them. No more flats!
Uggs tucked in jeans: i think this style is soooooo cute!!! uggs are the cutest boots, and when u pair them with jeans tucked in and a matching tee, it is just soooo perfect! if i had enough money, i would buy a pair of uggs to match each of my shirts and wear them every day!!!!!!!

As you may have heard, scarves are gonna be the thing this fall! Uggs with super-dark washed jeans tucked in are SUPER cute! Only, I]ve heard the Uggs has to kill sheep to make their product, so either use Fuggs (fake-Uggs) or those awesome knit ones! I suggest the knit ones in a cream color! AWESOME!
Do NOT wear super tight jeans or super short shorts! The only people I see wearing them are those fashion-impaired meanies who consider themselves popular. One girl wear super-duper tight jeans in LIME GREEN! Does that sound right to you?!?

I have one little word of advice: HAIRSPRAY!!!!! (that's right- USE IT!!!!!!!!!!)

Ever wonder if that new jacket that you LOVED in the stores was really a good decision on your part to buy? Go for it and wear it someday this week! Something about that jacket stood out to you in the store and you liked it, so you are likely to get compliments on it throughout the day. Trust me on this one. And if it doesn't work out, you can always take it off and show off the super-cute shirt you're wearing underneath it.
Finally, it's the weekend! Take the time to pamper yourself with a mani and pedi so you'll have fabulous nails when you go back to school on Monday. Choose a color that goes with lots of your clothes - that neon green may look great with your white mini skirt but not with any of the tops you can wear with it! If you are a "sloppy" nail painter, try painting the skin around your finger nail, too, and then peel the dried polish off your skin while in the shower. It gives salon-like results for free!
If your trying to convince your mom to let you shop at stores like Aeropostale, American Eagle, etc., and she won't let you, try to pull up their website and show her some things on there. If you both like it, but she thinks it is too expensive, compramise and say you will pay for half of it.

While skinny jeans are in this year, keep this in mind while buying yours; KEEP 'EM LOOSE! Don't get ones that are so tight that from the distance someone could mistake them for leggings. Also, keep in mind these questions when buying ANY clothes:
1) Would you want your picture printed on the front page of a newspaper in them?
2) Would you want certain people to see you in them? (your grandma, crush, etc.)
3) COMFORT! Make sure it comes first! (or second )
Remember, if YOU look comfortable and confident in the clothes, then other people will be comfortable being around you!
Try making your own jewelry! You get a totally custom look and can make it to go with any of your outfits. I wear (almost only) hand-made jewelry, and I always get compliments on it and everyone's amazed that I made it! You can look for design ideas at jewelry stores or online, and then re-create the look in any colors you want! Hand-made jewelry doesn't have to look cheap; mine look very nice and fairly expensive!
you said you have to wear uniforms express yourself on the weekends and when your at school wear lots of accesories. free dress day is the best day to express your style so wear your favorite outfit with lots of cute accesories.
beta141- I f you want them tucked and untucked, I'd say long shaft is the way to go! I'm planning on getting a fake pair that are long, made so well that no one can tell that they're fake, cuz my feet r growing wicked fast these days, and I'm already size 9 and a half.
I love the Classic Short UGGs! They work best for me since I'm short. I own a pair of pink ones and I can't wait till it gets cold so that I can wear them!

Knee-high socks. Sure, they're associated with 'blah' school uniforms and are often considered geeky (isn't that the fun?), but knee-high socks can add some serious punch to a super-short skirt or shorts. Paired with a simple sneaker, knee-highs take the stage; however, pair them with some super-cute galoshes and you'll be making some serious headway on the road to fashion glory. Can anyone say 'kawaii'?

Jewelry: it's true that accessories can make or break any outfit. But going overboard on the jewelry phenom is serious style suicide. Jewelry is meant to enhance the outfit; wear any more than needed, and you'll end up looking plain tacky. It's all about balance here- try to find the correct proportion between your clothes without drowning in them.

While skinny jeans are in this year, keep this in mind while buying yours; KEEP 'EM LOOSE! Don't get ones that are so tight that from the distance someone could mistake them for leggings. Also, keep in mind these questions when buying ANY clothes:
1) Would you want your picture printed on the front page of a newspaper in them?
2) Would you want certain people to see you in them? (your grandma, crush, etc.)
3) COMFORT! Make sure it comes first! (or second
)
Remember, if YOU look comfortable and confident in the clothes, then other people will be comfortable being around you!

Try making your own jewelry! You get a totally custom look and can make it to go with any of your outfits. I wear (almost only) hand-made jewelry, and I always get compliments on it and everyone's amazed that I made it! You can look for design ideas at jewelry stores or online, and then re-create the look in any colors you want! Hand-made jewelry doesn't have to look cheap; mine look very nice and fairly expensive!

Sorry I haven't done one of these in awhile! I've been super busy!
Need a new purse? Ask your mom if she has any old ones lying around. Some may look used, but with a little trimming of loose threads they can look super good! Find one you like and ask if it's okay if you use it, and then start fixing/emellishing until you have the purse you've always wanted!

Knee-high socks. Sure, they're associated with 'blah' school uniforms and are often considered geeky (isn't that the fun?), but knee-high socks can add some serious punch to a super-short skirt or shorts. Paired with a simple sneaker, knee-highs take the stage; however, pair them with some super-cute galoshes and you'll be making some serious headway on the road to fashion glory.
